Alan grew up in Massachusetts and studied a BA in Business. Since then, he started tutoring local students and discovered his true passion: teaching SAT. He is passionate about helping students crack the test by learning crucial skills and through his custom-made test questions. He has taught over 1000 students, leading hundreds of them to 99 percentile SAT scores with his custom-made SAT Prep CORE Books for Writing, Vocab, and Reading.

With NALAPREP, Alan is committed to giving students from around the world an effective all-in-one SAT platform where they can improve their skills. NALAPREP is Alan’s vision for the next generation of SAT Prep: available 24/7, unlimited questions, targeted focus and analysis of strengths and weaknesses, and expert teaching and support.

Effy grew up in Seoul and Shanghai before pursuing her studies in the UK, where she majored in BEng in Industrial Electrical Engineering. Since then, she has devoted her career to teaching, with a focus on Shanghai and Seoul, sharing her knowledge and expertise with students. She is driven by her passion for education, innovative teaching methods, and the creation of materials for independent study students.

Effy’s latest venture, NALAPREP, is a digital SAT platform that exemplifies her commitment to providing comprehensive resources for students. Through NALAPREP, she strives to equip students with the tools they need to succeed in their SAT exams and achieve their academic goals.
